Katherine Bauer – Curriculum Designer

Katherine Bauer has been involved with CBT since 2011 in various roles including a tutor, Site Coordinator, and Program Manager. In her role as Program Manager she re-built CBT”s board of directors and helped establish CBT’s first expansion to a new city. Most recently, she worked on redesigning CBT’s curriculum to involve a literacy approach to character education. Katherine is a 2014 Teach For America Corp Member and currently teaches first grade on the south side of Chicago. She received her bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a master’s candidate at Johns Hopkins University in elementary education.

Jodi Rojo- Chicago Site Coordinator

Jodi is currently a junior at DePaul University, and she aspires to be a teacher one day. She loves art whether it is just looking at art or making some herself. She loves to help those around her and to make others laugh.
