Park Beautification - May 26th, 2007

Fulfilling one of our mottos, we are not afraid to get our hands dirty. High school students, college students, and young professionals are hard at work clearing the weeds and debris from a flowerbed on the west side of Chase Park.

The flowerbed has been prepped and now we can begin to visualize and discuss the flowering splendor we plan to bring to Chase Park.

The usual suspects. Four high-school students worked with Dena, a DePaul student, Merrin, a board member, and a few others off camera to make a significant improvement to the visual appearance at Chase Park.

The final product brough smiles to the passer-bys for the 2007 summer. Donations from a local garden center and hardware store made this effort possible.
