  • Kickoff Happy Hour Fundraiser-  On Wednesday July 30th CBT will be hosting a happy hour event to fundraise for the 2014-2015 school year. The event will be held at Tradition Chicago – Pub and Grub, 160 N Franklin St. More details can be found here.

Past Events

  • “Grow Your World”  –  CBT’s first literacy event was held in the spring of 2012 and focused on environmental awareness.
  • “Grow Your Career”  –  CBT’s second literacy eventwas held in the spring of 2013 and focused on career options and education.
  • “Raven Festival”  –  In the past, CBT has co-hosted “The Raven,” a 2-3 day summer festival in the Ravenswood Community.
  • “Clean and Greens”  –  CBT young learners, tutors, and community members frequently plant flowers in a community space to celebrate Earth Day.
