On May 31st, Community Building Tutors-Chicago attended a Cubs Game at Beyond the Ivy to raise money for our 2015-2016 academic year. Our board members and staff reached out to our network of friends, family, and colleagues to support the event and CBT. In addition to enjoying the game, our guests had the opportunity to learn about our organization and programming. Although it was only 50 degrees on game day, everyone had a good time. The Cubs were gracious enough to donate a pair of Cubs tickets to raffle off at our event. The raffle provided us with a way to talk with many other people attending the game about our programming. We look forward to many more fundraisers this year.
